The coloring style used for these eyes is a very smooth, very subtle gradient that forms a sort of light-colored ellipse spreading out from the pupil. If you don't like the cartoony look (I do so I don't know if this is remotely what you're after), I'd maybe take a look at Shady's most recent eyes [1] [2].
